I would like to explain that even if you heat your head in the left side, it is normal to have headache in the right temple. It is caused by the contractions of the head muscles ( called also tension type headache or post concussion headache). Another reason is that the brain is floating inside the cerebrospinal fluid inside your skull. When you heat your head to one part, the brain moves into the opposite part, into the skull bones. So it can be damaged in two opposite parts (called also countre-coup lesions). I would recommend some painkillers and a lot of rest for some days.
