What Is The Treatment For Head And Neck Pain?

I had a novacaine injection in hinge of my jaw in june..to refill a molar...the pain shot into my ear..went home inside cheek swelled significantly..also pain went into neck and head..went back dentist said no infection...I m in bed for days head/neck pain...go to ER had head scan..everything fine..no infection.Doc felt he hit a nerve well now it s 8months later...still just as swollen...no pain..just feels like pressure pushing into my sinuses....I went to my PCP...and an EN. A new dentist .....what the heck is this ??? Sincerely Lori If I didn t realize I had to pay till the end ...forget it...thanx for nothing

it is because novaciane is an anaesthetic and it might have anaesthesid the nerve, so you aleays feel a lump there, if all tests are normal, you should now stop worrying and visit a physiotherapist,also take vit b 12. it can take some time for the anaesthetized nerve to revert back of its own
