What Is The Treatment For Frequent Urination?

Hi Doctor,
I am a 58 years old male.Had recurring Uti problems last year .First time in February 2013.Had a full course of antibiotics ,moxifloxocin ,and amekasin, and silo fast .The prostrate size was 44 gms and other reports like PSA we're normal.The TRUS report shower mildly enlarged central prostrate median. Have been on course of Dutasteride till about a month back. on doctors advise switched to Flotral.

Presently I have the following problem.

I get frequent urination spasms with little pain in the lower groin region.
The size of prostrate presently is 32 gms.The post void residue is 15 cc.
I take urispass when ever the problem of frequent urination occurs .Have also been on utilisers since 6 months.
Am drinking plenty of water and also having citric fruits.

Please advise

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You may have benign prostate hyperplasia(BPH). It is the cause of frequent urinary tract infection.

You should take drugs like prazocin or tamsulosin. It will help to reduce the symptoms of BPH. For urinary tract infection you should take a course of antibiotic like levofloxacin. Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
