What Is The Treatment For Fever , Vomiting And Diarrhea In A Child?
My 5 year old has had a fever that comes and goes for almost two months now. It gets as high as 104. She is very tired and has lost 6 to 7 pounds in this time. She complains that her tummy hurts. The episode before this current one she was vomiting for a day and had very bad diarrhea the next day. She is usually sick for a couple days and then normal for a week or so. Her blood work showed low hemoglobin. Another catch is her older sister caught it this time so it must be contagious. Any ideas?
