Hello
It seems from the history that your husband has suffered a injury accidently by your son and he is having pain following injury.
This indicates blunt injury to eye and requires evaluation to find out the severity of injury. The treatment is by use of antibiotic eye drops to prevent secondary infection. For pain relief you can use analgesic and antiinflammatory drugs .
Further you require evaluation to rule out any ocular injury and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
