What Is The Treatment For Excessive Armpit Sweating?

Good afternoon, I am suffering from a condition in which I tend to sweat a lot from my armpit and palms but this is something which is not common in other parts of the body and I have read a lot about this on internet and I came to know that this condition is called hyperhydrosis. Is there any cure for this condition? Thanks Satish

Hi.
As per your case history of hyperhidrosis my treatment advice is -
1. Avoid eating excessive spicy foods and don't add extra salt to your diet.
2. It can be cured with proper care and treatment. Use a potassium permanganate in water in dilution of 1:10000.
3. An aluminum chloride lotion (Aldry) can be applied on armpits and palms once at night.
4. Other treatment options are oral hydroxyzine, oral oxybutinin taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
