What Is The Treatment For Epstein–Barr Virus Infection?

I was told yesterday that I have the EB virus and I'm trying to determine if I contracted it recently or if it's out of remission. I have my lab results, but I have not been able to successfully interpret them. I have other things going on, so I'm concerned that if it's out of remission that my immune system is down for some other reason and that the other symptoms I have are related to something more serious. Is this something you can help with?

Hello
Epstein-Barr Virus ( E B V).
EBV is a DNA virus in the family Herpesviridae that infects >90% of persons by adulthood.
.Infectious mononucleosis ( I M ) is a disease of young adults and is more common in areas with higher standards of HYGIENE ;infection occurs at a younger age in the areas with deficient standards of HYGIENE.
.E B V is spread by contact with oral secretions (e.g. by transfer of saliva during KISSING ) and is shed in oropharyngeal secretions by > 95% of asymptomatic seropositive individuals.
Now perhaps you understand why this disease occurs in you .
Now for you information I am writing the SEROLOGIC FEATURES OF E B V-ASSOCIATED DISEASES , these are :
Acute infectious mononucleosis , convalescence , past infection, reactivation with immunodeficiency , Burkit's lymphoma , nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
So consult a physician and get his opinion at earliest. Good luck.
