Hello,
I can understand your concern towards your mother's health.
1) Blood report reflected poorly functioning kidney (since before development of diarrhea).
2) Mainstay of treatment for diarrhea is prevention of dehydration. This require use of IV fluids sometimes.
3) Appropriate antibiotic therapy based on stool routine and culture report is must.
4) If stool frequency is >6-7 per day then anti-motility group of medication is recommended to control stool frequency.
5) Use of probiotics is also recommended.

Hope I answered your query. If have any further query, I would be happy to help you.
Have a good day!
