What Is The Treatment For Diarrhea?

I have had diarrhea now for 82 straight days. Now sometimes a fart comes that I cannot stifle, and I end up with wet underwear. It is usually clear and has some mucous in it. I have seen a G.I. doctor but nothing abnormal has shown up. Please help

Hi..

Thanks for contacting HCM for health query..

You have got 82 days of diarrhoea which is troubling you..

Do not worry,you have met a gastroenterologist also and in case there is a dreadful condition he should have told you.

But then also this should be annoying you.

If I have a patient like this in my outpatient department I would investigate him with motion complete,haemogram , ultrasound abdomen,thyroid profile etc..

You meet a doctor in person and go as per her/his suggestion.

Till then help yourself with plenty of probiotics like curd,freshfruit juices with no added sugar and tender coconut water.Since diarrhoea is wetting you underwear also make sure you do not develop urinary infection.Wash personal parts thoroughly.
