What Is The Treatment For Child's Recurrent UTIs?

My 9 year old daughter has been having recurrent UTI's. How concerned to I need to be about this causing damage to her kidneys? When her urine has been cultured, it has coming back showing E coli so I feel like a lot of this is from hygine. I talk with her often about the correct way to wipe and going to the bathroom often. How can I help her.
