What Is The Treatment For Blotting , Nausea And Stomach Gas?

Hello Dr, My name is wilfred and I have had recurring stomach complications for a long time. The problem includes blotting, nausia, stomach gas, feeling full all the time even when I ve barely eaten anything and stomach swelling. I also have a never ending problem with my throat that leaves me clearing it every few minutes and a stuffy nose. I don t smoke. Kindly advice me on what my problem could be and how to treat it?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of stomach problems for a longtime, namely bloating,nausea, stomach gas, feeling full all the time and swelling of the stomach. Also have stuffy nose and constant need to clear throat.
There are two different problems.
Firstly the problem of the stomach can be due to intestinal infection or IBS or such specific or non-specific problems. You need to get the following:
Tests f stool for 3 days and the tests of blood to rule out diabetes and pancreatitis and so on.
Ultrasonography of the abdomen.
Colonoscopy and Upper GI Endoscopy.
These tests along with clinical evaluation can help to find out the diagnosis and gives a plan of treatment.
Secondly, the stuffy nose and constant need to clear throat can be due to local problems added on by anxiety and/or stress. You need to get examination done by an ENT Surgeon to get a clear diagnosis and a plan of treatment to get a relief.
