What Is The Treatment For Blocked Fallopian Tubes?

My wife was detected with ectopic pregnancy in February, 2012. The doctor who did her surgery said neither tubes were damaged during the surgery. Today we did a HSG and the report says bilateral tubal block with minimal localised spillage. Does this mean her tubes are damaged and she cannot have a normal issue?

Hi,

I think you should first confirm the blockage by a laparoscopy. It will be the final test. It can also help in clearing the block if possible. So don't go by HSG report only. Laparoscopy will be definitive.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Khushboo Priya
