Hello I had a lami / fusion at L4/L5 levels in late February 2014. I am 41 yrs old. When I woke from surgery I immediately felt my big toe and in between 2nd toes numb and pins and needles as well as my calf on my right leg was numb. Told Dr right away. Was told when back heals the foot will heal. Well today my back feels pretty good but still some pain. On right side. Mostly it s the new burning feeling that goes over the top of right foot an toes are sensitive to the slightest touch. I feel as though if it wasn t there before surgery it shouldn t be there now and that I traded in back pain for intense foot pain. Any advice I ve tried prednisone a few others the only thing that does anything is oxycodone 5mg an a robaxin an that just takes away the pain a little. Thank you
Dear user..your pain is nerve related and wont be alleviated by normal analgesics.I would suggest you try MAXGALIN 75 MG twice daily..Also i would like to get your blood sugar levels tested..get a fasting sample ang glycosylated hemoglobin levels, plus vit B12 Levels..if low then u can start on nurokind 1 mg OD tablets.Hope i have answered your question.
