What Is The Treatment For Anxiety Attacks?
My daughter is suffering post partum depression. She has a 12 week old baby. She started taking Zoloft two days ago. It seems that it takes 4 weeks to take effect. What can she take immediately to stop the anxiety attacks that she continues to suffer?

In post partum depression, treatment of choice is antidepressant and all antidepressant usually take two weeks to show response. In between, if she gets any anxiety attack, better to take benzodiazepine like lorazepam on sos basis. Rest consult a psychiatrist for proper drug monitoring.
