What Is The Treatment For Amblyopia?

My daughter is 8 years old. since age 3 years her left eye ball is squint inside(convergent). while focusing some thing strabismus appears strongly. she is using glasses +2 for left eye and plain glass for right one. is there any remedy for amblyopia. her health is poor but she is tall enough

Hello
It seems from the history that your daughter is having ambylopia.
The cause for ambylopia is refractive error.
Hence the treatment is by refraction and correction.
The next step is treatment of ambylopia by patching the normal eye and stimulating the abnormal eye.
This patching had yo be continued till she reaches 10-11 years and has to be tapered slowly.
Hence I advice you to consult your ophthalmologist for examination and treatment accordingly.
