I had an alergic reaction in my throat but after takin medication was still feeling the reaction in my throat so I had a cough,when I coughed one night I felt like I swallowed something but didn't know what it was,I went to see a dr he said there was nothing in my throat...what is it do you feel when u push your finger in your throat?what do you think I swallowed
I think you may have swallowed a mucus plug/blob which may have caused the cough! The thing that you feel when you put your finger inside the throat is called the "epiglottis" and is a normal anatomical structure. Take care
