What Is The Treatment For A Swollen Eye?

Hi, my eye seemed to be swollen so I took my contacts out. But i got a closer look, and there is a pocket of fluid in the outer corner of my eyeball. Is this conjunctivitis? Should i go to the Dr. or is there something over the counter i can take? The Dr. will not be in for another three days. Thank you!

Hello
It seems likeyou are having a pocket of fluid in the outer corner of the eyeball.
This indicates inflammatory swelling involving the glands of the eyelids.
You should avoid using contact lenses till the symptoms resolve.
The treatment is by use of antibiotic eye drops and antiinflammatory drugs.

Thank you
