What Is The Treatment For A Red Rash On The Waist?
I have been on an antibiotic for an extended period of time (July 11 - August 5 just took my last dose today) for a tooth infection and had a root canal done. I have developed since that time a red, hive-like rash around my waist (front and sides only) twice. It went away for about 2 weeks but recently reappeared. it gets swollen and red. Could this be some kind of skin yeast infection?

According to your complaints it seems to be urticaria which is mostly an allergic reaction, can occur due to medicines or to yeast infection. I would recommend you to take antihistaminic like tablet Cetrizine for few days.
