over the last 2 day i got a rash on my face - that is burning mostly under my eyes on the top of my cheek, the rash cover mostly the tspot on my face but i have not used any make for about a week but i did change my soap, i thought the soap dried out my skin as my face was burning so i lathered it with coco butter, it only slightly relieved the pain, but i just put some vicks under my eyes and the pain seems to be easing...what is happening to my face?
I can understand your concern. It seems that you have developed allergic reaction to the soap that you have changed recently.
I would advise you to take antihistamines. You can take Levocetrizine 5 mg (Levocet) or Loratidine 10 mg (Lorfast) once a day for 5-7 days. If it will indeed be an allergic reaction, it will reduce or disappear with this medication.
However, if the rash does not reduce or disappear or increase in severity, you should consult a dermatologist for clinical examination of the rash and further investigations.
I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you feel better soon.
