What Is The Treatment For A Lump Near The Eye?

I have noticed a hard reddish lump by the corner of my eye near my nose. It is very close to my eye and its been there for about a week. It was painful at first but now it only hurts if I apply pressure to it. I have tried warm compresses and they didnt do anything. Any help would be appreciated!

It seems from the history that you are having a lump near the corner of the eye.
Since it was painful initially it appears like inflammatory lesion probably affecting glands around or in the eye lids.
The treatment is by use of antiinflammatory drugs and antibiotics.
