What Is The Treatment For A Knee Pain?

I am a advit runner. About two weeks ago I started to get pain in my right knee. The pain occurs when I try to fully extend my knee or flex it 90 degrees or more. I notice that my right knee is slightly larger than my left. The pain has gotten better , but at times it can be quite sharp. Mainly when its in extension.

I would suggest you to get MRI scan of the knee joint as there is chances that you may have developed cartilage damage inside or there can be knee effusion . I would also recommend you to avoid any sporting activity till 2 weeks and apply ice, Diclofenac ointment and Brufen tablet. You can also apply compression bandage for swelling.
