What Is The Time Required To Lose Belly Fat?

Hey, Im a 17 year old guy and, lately, I've decided that I want to get myself in absolute peak physical condition, especially for the summer. I used to be an extremely chubby child when I was younger, but I began to grow out of it through a lot more exercise (crew, which I do not have the time for anymore unfortunately) and better eating. However, though at the moment I am "skinny," I still have a very mild case of being a fat skinny person. In other words, I appear skinny and I am fairly fit, but I still have love handles and more fat on the lower back and abdomen area than I would like. For the past 3 or 3 1/2 weeks, I have been keeping up a new schedule of smaller and healthier meals with more fruits and vegetables and little to no junk food or drink, while building muscle in the gym almost every weekday and running 4 miles (in 35 mins) for 7 days on and 1 day off. Sometimes, too, I replace my running with another cardio workout such as swimming or working out on the erg machine. This brings me to my question. After 3 1/2 weeks of doing this routine, should I have already started seeing results or does it take more time. I'm worried that all my work thus far is equivocating to no fat loss and that I've been wasting my time. How much longer do you think I need to wait?

Welcome to Health care magic. Thank you for posting your question.
I can understand your concern.

Let me first assure you that you are absolutely on the right track.
The balanced diet with cereals, vegetables , fruits are just fine. Keeping away from junk food, soft drinks deserves a five on five.

You are training hard too.

But try to understand that had you been a 100 kilos , these intense routine would have showed up results in a week. But since you are fit and fine and are doing these to be in perfect shape and be strong , it will take time. Have patience . I guess around 3-4 months and you will reach your goal . The test will be to maintain it which i feel you can achieve easily.

All the best.

Post any other question. We will be happy to help.
Have a nice day. Regards.
