What Is The Suggested Dose Of Flagyl And Microdox-LBXCan For Hair Loss And Red Patches?
Sir, I having red patches in front side of my head and i lossed lot of hair recently, So i went skin specialist, he prescribed me following 1. Dermanex cream 2. Novale-CT scalp lotion 3. metronidazole tablets ip flagyl 400 4. doxycycline and lactic acid bacillus capsules - Microdox-LBXCan you tell me what time and how many time a day i have to take those 2 tablets ?

Hi,
The normal dose of flagyl i.e. metronidazole is 400 mg thrice in day for 5 days .
Microdox i.e doxycycline ( with lactobaciluus ) some physician like to advise 200 mg / day for 5-7 days , while others like to prescribe 200 mg first day while 100 mg once a day for next 5-7 day with water ( not with milk).
In my opinion flagyl thrice in day ,while doxy ( 100 mg ) will be sufficient .
