What Is The Solution To Fix A Peeling Feet Of A Competitive Swimmer?

Hi! I m a competitive swimmer, I swim five days a week for 2 hours (at least. And twice as much in the summer) I wondered if there was something I could do to treat and prevent my peeling feet. Ive heard it s caused by all the moisture but I haven t heard how to fix it. Thanks!

Hi. Thanks for posting at HCM

I would definitely want to rule out Tinea Pedis, which is fungal infection of the feet.

You could get a KOH Scrapping done to confirm or rule out Tinea.

If it comes out to be Tinea Pedis, topical antifungal cream twice daily for 4-6 weeks along with an oral anti-fungal e.g fluconazole once weekly for 4-6 weekd would be sufficient.

take care
regards
