What Is The Solution For Tonic-clonic Seizures And Fits In 3 Months Old?
hope doctors you re in your good health. my nephew is having fits. there is lip smacking blinking of eyes and fist clenching. he is 3 months old. this episode lasts for 4 to 30 seconds once it was for 2.5 mints. he recognizes his mother father . smile as well. grip my hands as well. i had taken him to my paediatrics professor and he says it is tonic clonic seizures. he prescribe phenobarb twice a day sir. he has been taking it for 2 days . the frequency of fits is 5-6 times a day. i m very much worried plz suggest something. thank u

You are not going to get result just by giving 2 days treatment.
The treatment is for about 3 years.
Improvement will come gradually after few months of treatment.
The treatment has to be continued for 2 years after cessation of seizures.
