What Is The Severe Abdominal Pain And Pale Stools?
I've had lower right abdomen pain for two years now. I've had my appendix out, but it was normal. I recently started getting pale stool, with severe abdomen pain! I've had a lower and upper gi as well as blood tests and cat scans. The doctors dont know what to do anymore, Help!
HI. Read your history and understood your problem. When all the tests are abnormal and you still have pain in the right side of the abdomen, this is most probably IBS- Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Since you have have talked about pale stool, the probable causes can be :: Obstructive jaundice due to stone in the common bile ducts, pancreatic problems and so on. I would advise you to have a screening ultrasonography followed by MRCP and ERCP Stool tests for stercolbilinigen. Urine for biirubin Blood for CBC and liver function tests.
All tests test will help to rule out the causes of pale stool and may be the reason for pain in abdomen.
