dear i understand your concern.in my opinion you are taking very good combination of medication for control of pressure.this high pressure will damage your kidney.i guess only few changes need to be done in your bp medication.but don't do it by your self.kindly discuss with your doctor.this kind of situations are best handheld by nephrologist. 1. atenolol can be changed to metaprolol. 2.consider adding ACE or ARB 3. in our ancient medicine it's mentioned,by doing meditation we can control our heart rate and hypertension.but you need to find good trainer who can teach you yoga and exercise. relax....spk with your doc about my opinion....regards
Hello most probably you are suffering from resistant hypertension and you are having chronic kidney disease secondary to diabetes it seems, you can do an USG and renal scan, some lab investigation to rule out renal artery stenosis and secondary causes of hypertension, meanwhile you can stop hydrochlorthiazide and start dytor instead, if no renal artery stenosis you can start small dose of ace-I like ramipril and Can increase the dose of arkamine and consult a neurologist if possible :)
