What Is The Remedy For Tongue Protrusion?

I have a premee infant grand daughter now 6 mo of age. Normal development for her due date age (4 mo). From birth she has exhibited mild tongue protrusion. This does not interfere with eating (bottle fed). Any issues related to tongue protrusion in otherwise normal infant?

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Preterm babies usually fall behind for some times .
Ultimately they will be on par with other by one year of age.
Protrusion of tongue is not an issue as long as growth and development are normal
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required
Take care
