What Is The Remedy For Thyroid Disorder?

Since 2011- I cough mucus (white consistency) after each meal, and after drinking liquids. When it initially began I was severely sick for two weeks, could not function, just coughed up mucus 24/7 for two weeks. I became exremely weak, and bedridden, combined with throwing up, and continued loss of sleep due to being so sick. My family practioner prescribed anitiobiotics, after which I could function, but the mucus has continued since, but only after eating and/or drinking versus 24/7, as it began. I have been diagnosed with everything from bronchitis to allergies to pheumonia to post nasal drip. I am using prescribed nasal spray daily, and the problem gets better for few hours until I use it again, and again. I have a bag of empty prescription bottles just as a record of all the meds that have been prescribed since 2011. I am really concerned now, as this disrupts my life, makes me miserable, and I wonder will it ever cease. I do not use alcohol, never even had a beer. I do not, nor have I ever used tobocco products, and that being said certainly would not use illegal contrabend. The only drugs that have ever been in my system have been physician prescribed. I have purchased new furniture, new bedding, new mattress, etc. I have had trees, and shrubbery removed from areas that are outside my home thinking it could be an allergy. I was diagnosed with a thyroid disorder (2010) and have been on the daily medication Synthroid 75 MCG and I take a dialy hormone med Estradiol 1 MG. Please, do you have a diagnosis?

Hello,
Good day. I am sorry to hear that you have been suffering from so long and there is no clear cut diagnosis yet. I noted that you have hypothyroidism and is on treatment. Do you have a goitre( enlarged thyroid) as well??
Otherwise I don't think your symptoms are related to thyroid issues.

One other thing I noted is that you cough after food and after drinking fluids. This need further evaluation especially to look at your soft palate and throat movements . This can be done by a GP , a physician or an ENT doctor. You may also require to do swallowing studies which van be arranged by an ENT doctor. If you have such problems then you could develop lung infections by accidentally pushing food and fluids to lungs during the process of swallowing.

I hope this answer helps you. A correct diagnosis can only be made after examination
