Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic.

I would keep a possibility of fungal infection.

If I was your treating doctor I would have asked you to use a toical antifungal cream e.g clotrimazole twice daily for 2-4 weeks.

An oral antifungal e.g fluconazole 150mg once weekly can also be advised for fungal infection, in addition to the topical antifungal cream.

An OTC antihistamine once daily e.g cetrizine 10 mg would help you symptomatically.

Regular use of an Antifungal dusting powder would prevent recurrence.
