What Is The Remedy For The Pounding Headache BP Being Around 130/90?

my blood pressure is 130/89 138/94 137/89 over the last 3 hours. I have a horrible dull pounding migraine. i do not normally have high reading like this unless I m stressed or about to begin my menses. I am 5 3 149 lbs, black/mixed backgrounds, 45 healthy active woman, i am also a vegetarian. what should i do?

Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your symptoms.

They are suggestive of migraine. For relief of headaches, you may take rizatriptan or sumatriptan tablets.

If you get frequent episodes of headache, then, you would need to be started on anti-migraine medications to reduce the severity and frequency of headaches.

If BP reading remain high, a low dose of anti-hypertensive medication may also be needed.
