What Is The Remedy For The Itching Due To A Bite On The Neck?
On Friday, November 21, 2013, i received a "bite" on my neck. It began itching immediately and i showed my husband and we both thought it very odd on a cold, rainy night....our adult son, his wife & infant all with us and no one else received a bite. my concern is this: have taken one antibiotic, used antifiotic cream and now a predisone cream and the bite still looks like I just got it. the shape is almost triangular.

I had gone through your history and understand your concern,
As you had bite on your neck from a insect you need to know which insect has bitten, because there are other members in the family including a infant in the house.
After having the bite you have received medications like antibiotics and applied anti fungal cream also.
I would advise you that you have to confirm that really you had bite or any other infections like contact dermatitis or eczema.
For your itching I would have suggested to apply an ice-pack to a bite site, topical antihistaminics and oral antihistaminics. As you are already on antibiotics,anti fungal cream and topical steroid.
After this if your itching persists consult your dermatologist.
