What Is The Remedy For Swollen Tonsils With White Spots On Tongue?
Hi, I've had swollen tonsils with white spots for 7 days now. 3 days ago I saw a doctor and tested negative for strep. Since then, the swelling has remained the same (if not a bit worse). This morning I woke up with my tongue covered in white as well with patches of red/brown. What should I do? What could this be?

The throat infection and the white coat over the tongue can be because of the fungal infection like candidiasis. Nothing to be panic, consult an oral physician and get it evaluated. Mean while you can take a course of antifungal drugs like clotrimazole. Do saline garging.
