What Is The Remedy For Swollen Knuckles After An Injury?

My 11 year old daughter fell at school 6 days ago and hurt her right arm and hand. I took her to my local hospital where the doctor told me it was broken. Today i had to take my daughter back to the hospital to the orthopedic clinic, i was then told my daughters arm was not broken. My daughter is still in a lot of pain and her knuckles are still swollen quite badly to the point where you can t see her knuckles on her right hand. What could it be? I hate seeing her in pain.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
Since there is no fracture so the reason of such swelling and pain may be contusion and inflammation.
In such type of cases I usually recommend serratiopeptidase 20 mg three times in a day for 3-5 days .
Also give her aceclofenac 100 mg twice in day for 3-5 days.
I usually prescribe antacid along these drugs .
Cold sponging with ice also help.
Raise the effected parts with the help of some bandage .
Rest and immobilization also provide good relief.
Good luck for little daughter.
