- As most of the muscle related pains are related to calcium and
potassium deficiency, consuming diets rich in these compounds may help in relieving the symptoms. Foods such as bananas, potatoes are rich in potassium.Calcium fortified foods like seafood and fish, almonds, flaxseed, oats might be helpful for muscle pains.
- Avoid acidic foods and drinks like tomatoes and vinegar which blocks the body’s natural ability to absorb calcium leading to muscle ache/soreness.
- Quit
smoking (if you are a smoker) and avoid
dehydration.
