What Is The Remedy For Severe Rashes And Swelling Around The Legs?
my son has had a pretty bad rash all day gotten worse but been giving him beneryl. as I was putting him to bed he was complaining about his legs hurting him and was having trouble walking. As I look at his legs they are very swollen around his thighs and knees
Your son has rash all over body. He has swollen and painful knees and thighs. With this much history, I think that probably your son suffers from Henochs Schonlein purpura, also called anaphylactoid purpura. However, you consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis. While Henoch Schonlein purpura is generally a mild illness that resolves spontaneously, it can cause serious problems in the kidneys and bowels. The rash can be very prominent, especially on the lower extremities. It is a form of vasculitis affecting skin and joints mostly knees. Steroids,antibiotics,aspirin..etc might improve the disease.Bed rest is needed. I think, your son might be improved. I hope you got my answer.
Thanks.
