What Is The Remedy For Rosacea When On Doxycycline?

Have been recently diagnosed with Rosacea in November of 2013 and my dermatologist has prescribed doxycycline and Mirvaso, I dont have any acne rosacea just severe facial flushing and feels very hot, I continue to have severe facial flushing even tho i stay away from everything i think might be a trigger like chocolate, hot foods, spicy foods, sugar etc, my dermatologist does not recommend beta blockers and i read online that beta blockers like clonidine and nadalol can help reduce stress related flushing, is there anything else that can help me, i am at my wits end

Thanks for asking on health care magic.
In my opinion you should avoid exposure to sunlight and you must use sunblock having both uvA and UVB protection.
topically you should use metronidazole gel or azelaic acid cream.
Best option for you will be to go for laser or IPL treatment that is intense pulse light therapy .
you will be requiring 3 to 4 sessions at 4 to 6 wk interval.
I find this answer helpful
