What Is The Remedy For Redness With Blisters On The Lips And Armpits When On Chemo?

My 3 yr old son is receiving chemo and had a really high dose of methotrexate. It is now day two after the treatment cycle and is experiencing burn-like redness along with blisters or peeling skin in his mouth and on lips, in armpits, in growing area, on arms where they rest on the torso, and on most of his lower back. His doctors are aware of this but are only giving him pain meds. What can I do to lessen these symptoms?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern for your son, the lesion that your son have developed because of the drugs, this will come around as soon as the course of drugs overs, only the care has to be taken for infection and for that I would advise to apply "Povidone pint" this will protect the lesion form the infection hope this information helps you, have nice day.
