What Is The Remedy For Red And Irritating Eyes?

My eye became irritated (today) friday afternoon. I m not sure if it was my makeup or the air around. I do NOT wear contacts nor glasses. Late afternoon my eye was red, watery and looked as though there was a dimple om my eye. My eye still is very red, it is past midnight now. I have a slight cloudy patch over my iris in the same spot that i had the dimple earlier. I went to urgent care but the doctor, in my opinion, did not do a thorough check even as I explained the cloudy spot and where to find it. My next option is to go straight to the opthalmologist but tomorrow is saturday. I am just wondering is it safe to wait the weekend until monday?

Hi,
From history it seems that there might be having foreign body in your cornea giving all these symptoms.
You should seek urgent attention to this problem as there might be having corneal ulcer producing big problem.
Consult ophthalmologist as soon as possible for examination and treatment.
Meanwhile put antibiotic eye drops 2-3 hourly.
Do not try to squeeze or rubbing your eye.
Ok and take care.
