What Is The Remedy For Mouth Ulcer When On Encorate?
hi, my mother is having depression problem for almost 30 years and she was taking anti depressant and some sleeping pills as per prescribed by doctors....but from a year she is showing different symptoms like countinously talking to herself and some time she is having mood swings. Now she is taking a encorate chrono 500 in morning and (quitipin 100) 2 tablets at night. But she is having lots of problem like mouth ulcer, pain in legs at night, some stomach problem. Please suggest something how to proceed in her treatment...

Recurrent aphthous ulcers are very common complaint in depression and psychiatric manifestations. As generalised body aches and stomach discomforts are also associated , i want you to consult a rheumatologist for ruling out any systemic illness like lupus or behcet's.
Mouth ulcers can be managed by topical hydrocortisone gels and anesthetic gels. Good oral hygiene and using brush softly for cleaning teeth with consult to a dentist to sort out etiology and getting treated accordingly.

As you describe these changes could be due to the anemia,age changes like ischemia of the brain, and Harmon changes.
I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment.
She may need to have a C.T. scan, and other tests for confirmation of the diagnosis.
Ask her to take more of green leafy vegetables,pulses,sprouts, and protein rich foods to have good health and resistance.
