What Is The Remedy For Massive Hormonal Problems With Irregular Period?

I m helping a female friend. I checked on her Dr. and found he wasn t Bd. certified and had poor ratings. She is NOT pregnant. She is having massive hormonal problems and terrible irregular periods (since puberty) with huge bloating and pain, some 6 months between. Looking for a top Dr. who is Bd. certified in Phoenix Scottsdale area. Not sure a regular OB/GYN is best.

Dear- Your friend is having a hormone imbalance which can cause irregular menstrual period. She needs a complete hormone panel that includes:TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) ,LH(luthenizating hormone),FSH(folicular stimulating hormone),estrogen,total testosterone. This will give more information about possibles reasons of her menstrual period problem, including ovarian cyst,hypothyroidism and other conditions that will cause this imbalance.She can have an evaluation by endocrinologist and/or gynecologist,
