Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM,

I read your query and understood your concern.
Dandruff is a kind of fungal infection that should be treated with proper medicated agents. Use a shampoo containing ketoconazole, ciclopirox oleamine or zinc pyrithrone, like Scalpe, keraglow AD, or kelocote.
Wash with your regular shampoo, and on clean hair apply this shampoo, lather, keep the lather for 5 minutes and wash off. Repeat twice weekly. After your dandruff subsides completely, followup with once monthly application.

Hope I helped
