Hello and welcome to Health Care Magic Forum.
Irregular periods can be caused by various reasons. The commonest in your age group may be hormone imbalance. estrogen and progesterone are 2 important hormones controlling the menstrual cycle. So i would suggest you to get evaluated by doing and hormonal test of FSH and estrogen and also a Ultrasound scan to identify the problem. Based on the result your GYN might prescribe you on hormonal pills to regularise your periods.
