HELLO & WELCOME TO HCM FORUM

YOU SHOULD KNOW FOLLOWING THINGS:

1) WHATEVER & WHENEVER YOU EAT/ DRINK SMALL AMOUNT OF AIR WILL ENTER YOUR DIGESTIVE TRACT, MOST OF THIS WILL REMOVE BY YOUR MOUTH IN FORM OF BELCHING AND FEW WILL PASS FORWRD IN YOUR DIGESTIVE SYSTEM.

2) IN LOWER DIGESTIVE TRACT, BACTERIA WILL DIGEST YOUR FOOD AND WILL MAKE GAS ADDING TO INGESTED AIR.

3) LESSER/ MORE AMOUNT OF GAS WILL FORM IN YOUR DIGESTIVE TRACT AND THIS IS NORMAL NOT AN ABNORMAL PROCESS

4) SMELL OF GAS FORMED IS NOT CONTROLLABLE AND WILL DEPEND ON TYPE & PERCENTAGE OF BACTERIS PRESENT IN YOUR DIGESTIVE TRACT.

5) IF YOU ARE GETTING MORE THAN 20 TIME GAS PASS THEN ONLY IT CAN BE LABEL AS ABNORMAL OTHERWISE IT IS NORMAL AND YOU SHOULD NOT WORRY ABOUT THIS

6) BY CHANGINGTHE DIET YOU CAN REDUCE THE FORMATION OF GAS
A) REDUCE ALL LEGUMES
B) REDUCE AMOUNT OF MILK TO 200 ML/DAY IT CONTAINS 34 GMLACTOSE, MORE THAN THIS WILL MAKE GAS
C) DONT KEEP DOUGH AND BOILED POTATOS IN FREEZE..USING IT WILL MAKE GAS
D) REDUCE ONION,GARLIC,OILY SPICY FOOD
E) IMPROVE YOUR EATING HABITS

7) FEW DRUG ARE AVAILABLE IN MARKET AND CLAIM FOR DECREASING GAS FORMATION BUT JUST BY CHANGING DIET PATTERN YOU CAN GET RID OF YOUR PROBLEM

Hi welcome to H.C.M.Forum all epi gastric pains are not gastric pain. usual cause is gastriculcer , duodinal ulcer, pain due to infection of intestines, hepatitis, lastly stones in the gallbladder. if you consult a gastroenterologist he will do gastroscopy scaning blood tests & confirm the diagnosis , and treat you so that you are free of pain. thank you.
