What Is The Remedy For Frequent BM's With Severe Diaper Rash?

My 13 month old has frequent BMs (every 2-4 hrs), green frothy poop, severe diaper rash -- symptoms x 24 hrs
He started drinking whole milk 1 month ago . No new foods in last week, but milk consumption increased significantly from a few sips to 1/2 cup per day.
How can I determine if current symptoms are from virus or lactose intolerance?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
It appears that the child had lactose intolerance,as you started giving whole milk, the lactose consumption has increased. so it is showing the intolerance.
I advise you to consult a pediatrician for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms enzyme preparation, lactic acid bacilli, slowly increase the semi solid diet, and vein the milk intake. If some infection is found antibiotic is prescribed.
Slowly rice, fruits, and other solid foods are given.
For napkin rash, some ointment like rash free is given.
Weishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
