What Is The Remedy For Esophageal Spasms?

Hi I've been having what I call esophageal spasms for the last few months I do have gerd and am on nexium and zantac at hs. These spasms occur off and on several days then go away for several days I stopped taking fosamax a week ago. Nothing has improved I stopped taking vesicare today. Today is a day with no spasms. I do have a gi appt next week. Of course I don't want to hear it could be cancer, but even though I know a lot about gi, I'm wondering if just pain is a symptom of achalasia. Of course it could be a motility problem too.

Hi, welcome to Health care magic forum.
You are suffering with the g.e.r.d since since long, and still continuing with it. There are so many symptoms, present in the cancer.
Any how you are going to consult a gastro enterologist shortly, he will exclude the presence of cancer by gastroscopy.
Avoid using spices, junk foods, and oily foods. Take more of bland foods, curd etc.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery.Thank you.
