What Is The Remedy For Constipation After Suffering From Dysentery For Past Few Days?
Hi My son is 5 yrs old and he suffered from vomiting, dysentery and fever last week, now he is alright but after couple of times going to motion now he couldn't. Looks like stool has become hard and he is feeling the pain. Doctor adviced to give him the Cremaffin which I did last night but of no use. Please suggest

Sometimes after a bout of gastroenteritis, constipation can occur.
You can consider increasing his fluid and fiber intake in an effort to help with the constipation. Prune juice may be helpful for him.
It would take a few days for his bowel function to return to normal.
