What Is The Remedy For SGOT?

I am suffering from SGOT & SGPT levels elaveted SGPT 120 U/L SGOT - 68 U/L, No fatty liver, I am useing ursocal 300 mg last one manth, that time ot,tp levels are it will be normal. now spoted the medicine again elaveted the OT,PT, Note : I am occasional driking & smoking.

hi,
Elevated SGOT and SGPT indicate liver inflammation. Your tests do not suggest alcohol as the cause of your liver disease as SGOT/SGPT ratio is You need to search for alternative causes like fatty liver (which you told you do not have..dont know on what basis it is excluded).
Wilson's disease, Hemochromatosis, Autoimmune hepatitis and lastly any drug inducing damage to liver should also be considered.
Mind you, unless the cause is found, it is of no use to take ursocol as it will only reduce the levels transiently without correcting the cause.
A Gastroeterologist consultation who is expert in liver diseases can help you.
