Hello and welcome to health care magic, You should understand that infection in any part of the body is related to each other and though our body has compartmentalization and separation, a complete exclusion or individualization is not possible. Coming to your problem as such, a recurrent tonsillitis can lead to other infections and also UTI can cause symptoms of upper respiratory infection like tonsillitis. If you do get recurrent infection then you must consult an ENT surgeon who can decide regarding tonsillectomy.
