I didnt get anymore periods after that till the 25th april 2011 caucing me the same problem as before that lasted till around 23rd may 2011 with a couple of days inbetween. then on the 6th june today i come on again heavry and more painful before. i have also started to get problems with my overys and that area. i had a scan to see what the problem was and the nurse said i was either producing more eggs the i should be or the stuff that make the egg which with either of them they were producing on the outside of my overys. it this normally for the implant to do this? and what could be causing this if its not the implant?

IUD implants are known to be associated with heavy irregular bleeding and pain as common side effects. It may also be automatically dropped off from your uterus. Keep checking the presence of the thread which hangs from it in your vagina. In case it has fallen off you may be having your Periods in a heavy flow. Please check. What the Nurse meant was that the pain you were experiencing was probably due to egg formed on your ovaries, meaning a Corpus luteal cyst which are fairly common and usually don;t require treatment unless they cause complications. They are known to cause mild bleeding inside your abdomen which can irritate and produce pain. But this is only one of the causes. You need to review the Ultrasound report with your Gynaecologist to confirm other causes.
